The Straight Story

After learning of his brother's stroke, 73-year-old Alvin Straight (Richard Farnsworth) wishes to visit him in hopes of repairing their fractured relationship before they die. Barely able to walk and nearly blind, Alvin decides to make the 240-mile trip on his lawnmower, assisted by the kindness of strangers along the way.
